blehg. i cant be….ah nevermind…sorry my brain is not functioning.

so yesterday day dedicated to the creative arts.
so we had a rehursal.
we did good, but we needed more energy. i wasnt projecting much in teh first half. and my mic thingo fell off as soon as i sat down and when flick was doding the last speach and we were emnt to be frozen. and there was also little gaps.

and tehn was the actaul prefomence in frount of the audience on the night. we had a lot more energy as we all expected to have and i progected more. i think. (did i mention my brain?) and some of us had our mics reposisitoned so you coukd hear us better tehn in rehursal. there wasnt any major problems. oh wait yes ther wsa. jess’ mic. oh heres some irony for you. we were doding an emsemble on the technological revelotion and jess’ mic wasnt on!
but i think we all did a very good job. yay team! lol
ummm…….hahah backstage some pepole were asking “hey have you done that Scott thing yet?!” hahahahahh funny!

oh and today. we talked about how we thought it went and waht worked and what needed to be altured in the prefomence for bunjil for your assesment.
the main theing were gogin to change is the ending. becuase it isnt very BANG! final. end, applasue, roses, 5 standing ovations, encore, ‘can i have your autograph?’ nominated for 15 oscars and won them all type ending.
its kinda like. finish.feeeze, waits for audience to clap akwardly and then get shunned off stage.flat type ending.

and then we also practised the ending of the footy scene and then we did a new transition to the robot scene. oh we have a placrd! i fogot to mention that….and then did the robot scene and kinda discussed how we could end it.

i helped out a little in disscussion. but mainly i was like a distraction. i said little comments and half the time i dont think anyone is listening and then they cack themsleves laughing. i didnt even think what i ws saying was funny. apparently it was…

ummm… yeah so. 2moz night is the night! *gasp!* were gogin to preform our on-som-belh at creatvie arts! (coolies!) hahahah sorrry i had a differernt thought…

ummm… so bright ( actaually it wasnt bright….hmmm… funny about that) and early monday moring our gropu came to school and had a beofre school practise. and yeah it went pretty good i think. and yeah…. we did soemthing else… i think it was working on our endidng…

and today we practised in frount of cashy and he said it was okay. just lacking some energy. and alos we needed a better ending. i agree on that point.

so then we also practsied in forunt of the whole class. and they gave us some helpful feed back. THANK YOU GUYS! it helped alot. so yeah we had to change our ending. and im glad that they thought it was funny.

so new ending. oh ooops i forgot to mention we changed the robot scene. yeah… no more malfunctioning. (my back is very gratful for that. tables can hurt!!!) and then form the re vamped robot scene we change back to the family. they fmaily stands in a line and i hoble over to my chair and mutter about me wnating to keep up wiht technology or something to that effect. then the famiyl makes comments to each other down the line and then trudy gets angry at gramps and lunges at him. scott and dear old dad carry her away. cass comes forward and says how technology keeps changign but families will always be the same….

WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!
so “last night she said….” we (as in like half the class) prefomed thier solos.
welcome done everyone on a sensational job!

i dont know how i idi. pepeople said i did good but meh… they could have just been saying that to be nice or coz they know me.

but i did do some stuff ups. only minor ones mind you. but still….
like half way though i momentarly forgot my next line so for like a second i was like, “….gah…” but then i got it back. i dont know what happened there.
ummm i had to stop myself from lauhging when i heard people laughing at my “im to young to go to jail” speech. i was smiling a little. and as usal i droped my accent. which mad it hard to tell the difference between my primary character and one of my secondary ones. my partents and my friends didnt get that. and yeah.. i guess it was hard. i didnt really change my choice much. but my movements were different. my voice woulda changed more IF I KEPT MY FLIPPIN’ ACCENT!!! and i spotted my friends and family in teh audience and then kinda looked down for a second but after that i looked back up and i could look at them without being distracted. so that was good.

oh and i have bruises on my knees and strangley on the top of one of my feet form falling to the ground so much in practise.

and evry preformance that night was brilliant.

okay this lesson:

we practised the solo wiht the props. (yay we have props) and it went pretty good. we made like a fresh sort of mini scene that leads to the future scene and we fixed up and practised the future scene. and cashy watched us do a run through of the whole thing and he said it was good and we got some laughs.

but we lost our focus a few times because we were laughing so hard. i was laughing so hard i was crying.

so yes. now we just need some costumes. i have and idea in mind for my gramps costume.

and then were gogin to come into school early so we can practise so it will be ready for creative arts.

ummm yes… thats it i think for today. i have to go anyways…. actually i dont have to anymore but ill still go.

umm… so yeah. lol osh… anyways…

okay in todays class we spent half the class practising the emsemble ( i soooo cannnnnot spoll todae) so we figured out a quick little mobile phone scene. ( gotta have that to do wiht technological revelotion) and then a little futureistic scene. so ya… we just have to smooht things….oh carrots….over a bit and were pretty much doen i guess except for costuems. oh and during the second half of the lesson jess and jacqui were working on our props. THATNK YOU SOOO MUCH GUYS!

and the rest of the group were practising our solos for thusrday. and i need the class time. i have like no time except ofr tonight and on the thursday to practise. but i dont want to be a let down to the group becuase we have to preform at creative arts next wnedsay!

but even as we speak im dodin spme solo home work by listineing to alot of uk artists to fix up my accent for thursay. so alot of artic monkeys, jamie t, kasier cheifs and bloc party. maybe some mcfly…

pplz you need to help me out. do you think i should keep the accetn. i keep droping in in rehursals and if i have to use diction and be clear in bunjil i might not have the accent.
wabt do you think? like as an audience do you think its a bit part of the solo character or like waht? ill probaly keep it but not like a really obvious one. gah im so gonna stuff up!

okay i have like no idea when my last update was. it seems like such a long way away.
and i know i didnt post form yesterday (hahah thats a song). and i cant really remeber what happend yesterdsay cause yestreday night and arvo was so hecitc! and now im talking to my firned and im trying to calmn her down coz shes freaking out about some thing on sat.

but like none of that is about drama so…..

oh i can remeber some stuff of last lesson.
we totoaly changed the music bit because it was slow and dragging. it was a good idea but
it just wasnt working. so we still kept the whole grammaphone and ipod thing. we had the idea of like using adds, old ones and modern ones to like advertise the product. so we have music techlogy and then some tv aspect too.
and then we practised the footy scene too. all the slo-mo cameras they have now a days.
and we also have a little mini intor like in a documetary.

and then today we like fixed up a few things and made transitions a bit smoother inbetween scenes and the like and then we disccused and ending futere scene because it only goes for like 6 nd a half minets.

and during the lesson cashy went to all the groups and watched what they had so far of the preformace and then desided which gorup will prefome in the stop in creatvie arts.
and he chose our group! yay! i havent been in creative arts since like year 8. and that was liek the only time i did it. wooooah freaky! i wont have a clue what im doding or where im gogin. ah ill be fine. ill be lost back stage for a few days but… meh…
i think cashy chose us mainly for the slo mo scene. its HILL HAIRY ARSE! umm… yeah.

so we have to get our acts together and fix up the last scene and then smooth everything and props and costumes!

and then i have to revive my solo for thursday so that takes out some emsemble time coz flick and nadia are doding solos too.

so yeah…

okay so there have been some MAJOR changes to our on-som-bleh.( said in over the top frech accent).

we have scrapped the whole spy idea. and cut the ned kelly and the america’s cup
scenes and the old intro and the old ending.

when have new characters. well i dont really cause im still the old coot but now im a grandad. jess is now a loving father (to the son mainly) and a dissapointment to his fatehr (me), flick is the grandaughter ( and grandpas fav), nadia is the mother (who seems to be having maratal problems wiht her husband) and jacqui is the grandson who is the pride and joy of his father.

okay the story is the family has come to visit gramps. and here we have a little intro.

and then gramps tells the story about the war and the giant walkie talkies and the morse code (i have to tell that quicker) so we kept that scene.

then we go inot a scene about the changing technology of music. its got a gramma phone, boom box, disc men or walk men and an i pod.

then were gogin to go inot the footy scene. we like the idea of having the footy so we kept it but now it doesnt have about how the spies rigged it. now its more like all the new camreas and slo mo replay technology.

and the we have a “what will they think of next?!” moment and we go to future technology.

and then we end it some how….

hehehe listening to firends bro’s band. SO GOOD!!!

anyways drama…anyways ensemble. on-som-belh! hehheh french….

right todays. we dids the followings:
more disccusions about how we plan to do scenes and ran through scenes.
so we have done the intro a few times now.
today we acted out the war scene and the ned kelly scene. and we figured out how to make it a little smoother cause the play has to go for 10 minets and we still ahve 2scenes left and then the ending and its already like 8 minets! GAH! so we have at least been tweaking the scenes we have a little and we have ideas of how were gogin to do the last one and kind of idea for footy and america cup

but we most likely have to cut some scenes, or at least cut chucks out of scenes to make it quicker, smoother, not too random and so it actaully has stuff to do wiht technology.

oh and cashy watched what we had so far. and he laughed a few times! YES WE HAVE HUMOUR!!!!! but yeah he said we need to cut some things or like tighten it, trim some scenes, take a bit off the top, give some hightlights of thechnology.

o…k…? whats wiht all the hair dressing?

so…yes… where was i? sorry distracted by parents…..anyways……….
ummm… totaly lost travk fo my thoughts now. darn… ummm… hang on it will come to me in a sec….

yeah so…

we have practised our entry and first little introductry scene.
we have figure out the order of the scenes ( we swapped them around from last lesson)
but we ran out of time to preform those.
and we worked out how were gogin to do those. were goging to have a narrator, well actually one of the character telling about there mission and then the rest acting it out.
AND WE CAME UP WIHT A BRILLIANT ENDING!!!!!!!!! zulu!!!

so i think we’ve pretty much solved our problems. for now anyways…
we just have to think about props and costumes. we have thought a little about prorps. like some giant walkie talkies, a cane, a walking stick maybe…well i need it for my entrace, a sort of microphone or soe, sort of camera, and a mobile foot ball, and an ipod…and a table and charis….so yeah….alot.

ummm… so we just need to figure that out and PRACTISE OUR SCENES!!!!

typing with one handf….

last lesson we practised the first scene of our ensemble. and it was pretty good. we cracked up laughing a few times. so at least we have the comedy aspect! YAY! though i wasnt really worried about that…
oh i forgot before that we kinda got into character and then did and entrace…
we used some lines we thought of in our previous descussion but the majority was improvised. and the good stuff we desided to keep and we had to drop other bits…

umm… okay so were kinda having a bit of trouble fitting in the technology aspect. we keep going off topic.

so we had a bit of a confrence at the start of the lesson to work out the scenes we researched for home work. we decided to do a ned kelly scene, followed by the war, and umm…winning the america cup the 1990 footy grand final. and i think that was it. we thoguth it was best to do it in cronological order so you can see how technology has improved over time.

so we were assigned a scene to work out how technology could have been used. and i have an idea for mine (im doing the war).

so were doing pretty good. but we have like way to many complecated ideas.and we struggle to bring it all back to the ‘technolgical reveloution” aspect.

so ah ha…..

last lesson we did the following:
came up wiht some ideas and develpoed them. asked cashy waht he thought.
he thought some were good but others….meh…
so changed ideas and started to develop those a bit.
added some lines

we had some loooong pauses inbetween ideas though. and we did have good ideas but then we were like “woah, hang on a sec guys, thses are good but…where’s the technology?”
okay so we we came up wiht a rough sort of plot.
we are spies (kept that idea) and were at a sort of conferance meating type thing and were like “congrats on last mission….yada yada yada.”
then we go alright sowhat technology do we think is best for the new mission? and then we go thorugh old- new technology and how it helped us and how techonogy has developed. its goot ya?

okay so we also decided to look up some aussie history to help develop ideas where our spies could have used technology for…uh… the betterment of man kind….

and i came up wiht an idea over the week end which i plan to share with teh group. if the dont liek it its okay. but i just thougth of it while i was having tea on the weekend and i thought it was funny….
