and then we did your ensmble. and we got graded on that.
i think we did pretty good. wev’ve done it so many times. i did stuff up a little bit. the lines where i was saying how bad tv was and then “hey whats on tv?” yeah… i kinda stuffed that biot. i hope no one noticed. but we all did good!
oh and the ohter groups were soooooo good too!
and that night was the first time i had seen all of maddie, jess, heather and leah’s ensmeble and i was like …WOAH!!!!!! its was goooooooooooooooooooood!

lol getting all the props up and down was funny though. tables are evil!

okay and then today we had our drama SAC. i have no idea how i went… i guess okay. i didnt know how i went on the SAC on destin and i ddi well so… thats a good sign i guess.
and then laslt on thursday we have the drama exam in the moring. and then…..*sniff* thats the last of drama ill do unitll year 12. *mutters and cures under breaht* stupid evil subject clashes*

oh yeah! i was just goign through my blogs and getting teh importanto stuff for studdy for exams and i forgot to say that before we preformed last night flick and i fixed the antena. we improvises and taped some squers and painted them…it looked a bit wierd. but i geuss that adds to the comdey right? lol

so todays afters schools (ugh! imagine having to go to more then one school in a row! *shudders*) we had an after school rehursal for our ensemble.

and we did a couple of practises. and we timed it and it was around 11 minets coz we had acouple of stuff ups. well i know i stuffed up once at least. and yeah were pretty good. we just needed my…wait what?! sorry i got distracted. oh man! now i have no idea wehre i was gogin wiht that….i dont think i ment to wirte my….

anyways its pretty good. weve done it many many times. just tweaking lil bits hear and there. and we just need to make it a tight tighter and MORE ENERGY!!!! (we spent a little bit of that pactise trying to get our energy levels back up)

umm… oh yeah and we need that antenna……other wise…were good! yay!

umm…where to start?
hahah i dont now why but as soon as i heard teh start of “i wont survive” by the grates. i started laughing….
some of those monologues were pretty good. and i loved the cotumes. oh and wasnt one of the monalouges one we did last year? i think it was. actaully im sure it was coz maddie was like “thats my monalouge!!!!”
oh i felt so sorry for the guy who lost his mic! but he kept his focus and prefomed so well!
and the dances were pretty cool too. and the music was awesome! that guy who sung was soooooooooooo good!

and the drama solos. like wow! i know ive seen them before at top class but still…
gmfo!!!!! I LOVE THE GOSSPI!!!! he is brillinat! and starting in teh audience that was so cool. lol

so today……..
umm… well we practised. fine tuned ect. and yeah i think were pretty good. except we have to stop laughing! serioulsy! ummm….wow i have a bad memory cause now i cant remeber anyhting except for the whole “and the robots are making out” and jess doding her bbc voice about god and hymns and nad saying some word that made us all laugh and we said it every 5 seconds. and then i think it was jaqui who was like after 15 minets “hang on. how did we come up wiht this word?” and i cant even rember the word!!!!!

umm… so yeah. oh we need to fix the anntenna on the walkie talkie.

um…yeah well theres not much really to report today sorry. we practised. we have prrettty much all over secnes down pat and we just need to practise the last one a bit so its perfecto! oh and i have a remote! mwahahah. hahah funny. the last time wehn we were practsing and the rest of the class came in i was mucking around wiht the remote and then i took the cover off to pretend to check the battreies and i couldnt get it back on! hahahaha…well i did eventually……but it took me a while….

so if that made absolutly no sence to you…. heres what we did this lesson.
well….we sat down for a bit and tried to brain storm the new ending. HAHAHHAH! sorry listening to a cool/funny song. im sorry… continuing on……
yeah well…. we couldnt really think of anything for a while. i dont know about the rest of the group but i was like “er…..gah!… nah i got nothing.” i could like the gears struggling to turn in my mind and think of soemthing…..and its weird cause im very creative. seriously! put a pen and paper in frount of me and ill write you a poem or a story or something in a few minets. but today i had nothing……
anyways…..so we all knew we couldnt end it the way we had it. so we desided we should do some impro and see if we could think of anything.
so we did a run thorugh. wiht out any of the props except for the placard. ummm….and we were like very flat, like no engergy. i dunno, maybe not being able to think of a good ending for like the 4ht lesson in a row was bring us down or something….
but then…i dont know who thought of it but it was and is a brilliant idea! we have the tv malfunction! ( ha we had the robots malfunction about 3 not good enidings ago!) it like switches from channel to channel. and im sitting on the chair as grandPA (not Ma)and hitting the remote as the channels keep chaning. so we have jess, jaqui, flick and nad in a kind of line (like we did wiht our old ending wiht the family!) and making that static noise and flicking to little tv shows and they face the back and trun around when its there turn to speak.and then they go in a line and say like a word each (actually i think nad says two) and it says “look…how…technology…has changed” and grampa is like “i think the tv’s busted. bloody technology!”

omg im so proud of this new ending! IT-IS-SO-AWESOME!!@!!!!!!
and we all got exctied and practised it a few tiems and showed cashy, he seemed to like it. (hence my little code word thing at the top)

while jess and jaqui were working on there solos, flick nad and i were making our “the future” placard. and let me just say: flick = perfectionist.

and also nad and i were writing more in the ensemlbe book. like a more detailed explnation of how our ideas depeloved and changed ect….

umm… yeah thats about it….its pretty short but. well thats what we did.

we tweaked our emsemble a bit more. we fixed/ externed some scenes to make them more about technology. like in the footy scene we say soemthign like “using the latest technology in slo-mo cameras.” or somethign to that effect for example.
ummm….stilll trying to fix the ending a bit more. so its more final. last line last laugh type of thing bang moment. if you know what i mean.

ummm… yes so were gogin pretty good, tweaking and perfecting scenes. making it smooth and sharp at the same time. no gaps ect…..m… eyah so its mainly teh ending thats bugging us.

and so next lesson jess and jaqui are practsing theri solos for the show case and the rest of us will be doing what ever. maybe we could fix up the walkie talkie coz the antenna broke off one of them. (oh dear!)
so J and J if you need any help wiht solo, like you want someone to watch you prefom, ill be there. i have no life lol.

so yesterday day dedicated to the creative arts.
so we had a rehursal.
we did good, but we needed more energy. i wasnt projecting much in teh first half. and my mic thingo fell off as soon as i sat down and when flick was doding the last speach and we were emnt to be frozen. and there was also little gaps.

and tehn was the actaul prefomence in frount of the audience on the night. we had a lot more energy as we all expected to have and i progected more. i think. (did i mention my brain?) and some of us had our mics reposisitoned so you coukd hear us better tehn in rehursal. there wasnt any major problems. oh wait yes ther wsa. jess’ mic. oh heres some irony for you. we were doding an emsemble on the technological revelotion and jess’ mic wasnt on!
but i think we all did a very good job. yay team! lol
ummm…….hahah backstage some pepole were asking “hey have you done that Scott thing yet?!” hahahahahh funny!

oh and today. we talked about how we thought it went and waht worked and what needed to be altured in the prefomence for bunjil for your assesment.
the main theing were gogin to change is the ending. becuase it isnt very BANG! final. end, applasue, roses, 5 standing ovations, encore, ‘can i have your autograph?’ nominated for 15 oscars and won them all type ending.
its kinda like. finish.feeeze, waits for audience to clap akwardly and then get shunned off stage.flat type ending.

and then we also practised the ending of the footy scene and then we did a new transition to the robot scene. oh we have a placrd! i fogot to mention that….and then did the robot scene and kinda discussed how we could end it.

i helped out a little in disscussion. but mainly i was like a distraction. i said little comments and half the time i dont think anyone is listening and then they cack themsleves laughing. i didnt even think what i ws saying was funny. apparently it was…

ummm… so bright ( actaually it wasnt bright….hmmm… funny about that) and early monday moring our gropu came to school and had a beofre school practise. and yeah it went pretty good i think. and yeah…. we did soemthing else… i think it was working on our endidng…

and today we practised in frount of cashy and he said it was okay. just lacking some energy. and alos we needed a better ending. i agree on that point.

so then we also practsied in forunt of the whole class. and they gave us some helpful feed back. THANK YOU GUYS! it helped alot. so yeah we had to change our ending. and im glad that they thought it was funny.

so new ending. oh ooops i forgot to mention we changed the robot scene. yeah… no more malfunctioning. (my back is very gratful for that. tables can hurt!!!) and then form the re vamped robot scene we change back to the family. they fmaily stands in a line and i hoble over to my chair and mutter about me wnating to keep up wiht technology or something to that effect. then the famiyl makes comments to each other down the line and then trudy gets angry at gramps and lunges at him. scott and dear old dad carry her away. cass comes forward and says how technology keeps changign but families will always be the same….
